Lea Sevey
Grant Analyst
Lea Sevey, MHS, has worked in the domestic and sexual violence field for over 20 years. She currently splits her time between two roles: working as a Logistics Grant Analyst at Safe Harbors and running her own business, Lea Sevey Consulting, LLC, where she supports organizations working to improve safety, equity, and services for survivors.
Over the years, Lea has held leadership roles at the state and local levels. She previously worked at the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and was the Executive Director of a domestic violence program in rural Oregon. Her experience includes managing nonprofits, navigating complex grants, and helping systems better respond to survivors’ needs.
Lea is also a certified expert witness in domestic and sexual violence court cases. In 2019, she was honored with the Midori Hamilton Award for her commitment and leadership in the field.
She stays active in her community through volunteer work. She serves as a Delegate for the Oregon Bar Association and has held leadership roles on several boards, including the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, NeighborWorks Umpqua, the Nonprofit Association of Oregon, and the Oregon Department of Human Services Advisory Board.
With a Master of Human Services degree and a passion for systems change, Lea brings a grounded, practical approach to every project she takes on.
